I stayed in this fantastic Bed and breakfast while visiting the nearby Macroert theatre. On arrival Allan was very welcoming and is happy to share his knowledge of the area, where to visit and what to see in the time frame you have, he also serves a fantastic scottish breakfast in the mornings. The Double room was clean, modern and very... More

Owners Allan & Janie provided two nights' accommodation for me at the request of a nearby B&B who had unavoidably to cancel my booking (with several days' notice). On arrival Allan happily provided me with information on places to eat and visit during my (all-too-brief) stay. This welcome was also reflected by the hospitality tray in the room, which included... We were lucky enough to get a double room at the cressington on the day. Excellent value for money, Allan was very helpful giving local information. Really enjoyed the Scottish breakfast too. Would definitely stay again if in the area. More

We had pre-booked for one night in August, but it was so lovely and Allan and Janie were so welcoming that we returned again on our way back from Skye. They were friendly and could not have done enough for us, recommended local places to go and to eat, and also how to get to the Edinburgh Festival which was... More

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of October. Janie and Allan were very welcoming - lovely family room, spotlessly clean, nice hot shower - tea, coffee AND hot chocolate in the room, plus Scottish biscuits! Very comfy beds. We had a view of the Wallace monument as well. Breakfast was excellent - good selection of cereals, plus yoghurts... More

This little bed and breakfast is lovely - spotlessly clean, beautifully soft white sheets ( yes, I would have quite happily pinched them and taken them home). My major grumble was the mattress. I could feel every spring, and couldn't for the life of me get a decent nights sleep. Terrific hosts - hope you don't take offence, but the... More

We arrived on Monday for one night's stay at the cressington and we were not disappointed by anything. Alan is very welcoming, gave us a leafklet on the best places to visit and eat out in Stirling which was a great help. The room was lovely and clean, gorgeous modern bathroom with a shower big enough to fit 2 adults... More

Alan who runs this B&B couldn't have been nicer when we stayed. 7 lads doing a sponsored bike ride from John o'groats to lands end. Rooms where excelent with on suite facilities, tea and coffee too. Breakfast was good. 7 lads can eat a lot when you are cycling 100 miles a day and the food didn't disappoint. We also... More
