no welcome. Dinner a disgrace. No interest why our meals had not been eaten. Other guests felt the same. Morning staff commiserated and breakfast ok; explanation was that they had a new cook on his 1st night. No apology from manager nor response to written comments. shame. more

stayed for 3 nights, staff are so so helpful and take very good care of their guests. the accomodation is excellent, and the food in the restaurant was the best i had eaten in a hotel for some considerable time very convenient for the town centre and local attractions. highly recommended. more

Had a great overnight stay in the terraces hotel, booked dinner bed and breakfast - was in one of the suites this was fab - food was excellent, also services in bistro was good, would recommend this hotel to anyone, only regret in written this review is that people will discover this hidden gem and I wont get a room... more
