After reading the great reviews decided to book here. The location was incredible..but the rooms were tiny. They didn't have fitted sheets ..or even hospital corners...in fact, if you lift your pillow you would see the mattress, uncovered by sheets. Never seen a bed made this way. Stopped in for lunch after visiting Stirling Castle. Nice atmosphere, cosy and welcoming. Staff very friendly and attentive. Ordered a couple of Paninis which were tasty enough. (salad a bit basic..just red lettuce, tomato and onion, no dressing offered ....I love salad!) Pub Grub on offer and a snack menu too.
