What a wonderful grand house to stay in. Tim the host was charming, informative and treated us more like family than guests. The room we stayed in was lovely and so clean. The breakfasts we had were excellent, cooked and presented to perfection. I cannot reccommend Tim highly enough to anyone thinking of staying in the Stirling area. Tim certainly... More

We stayed one night at Tim's B+B and we really enjoyed staying in this Victorian villa. We had a beautiful room and Tim recommended a fantastic restaurant. We'd recommend Firgrove to anyone who'd like to stay in Stirling.

The Firgrove is a traditional B and B in a grand old Victorian house, a level 10-15 minutes walk from town. It's a great base to explore Stirling. Our room was large, light and comfortable, with a beautiful bay window. Although it faced the road there was no noticeable traffic noise as the house is set well back - you'll... More

My husband and I stayed at Firgrove B&B for four nights and without a problem, were able to extend for one additional night. Tim was the most gracious host and made our stay quite memorable. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Tim was most helpful each day as we chose outings and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious with... More

Tim was a very friendly and helpful host - great suggestion for dinner Tim! Rooms are spacious and the decor is tastefully traditional. Our room faced the main road, but I don't remember hearing any of the road traffic. The highlight was the freshly cooked breakfast complete with haggis and blood pudding if you're game :) Actually, the real highlight... More

We stopped in Stirling on our way up north and found this lovely B&B at the last minute. Tim, the owner, was kind enough to wait for our arrival a bit later than scheduled in the evening. The rooms are particularly beautifully decorated in what looks like a typically british style to us foreigners... Breakfast was fantastic with everything one... More

Great location for exploring Stirling and the Trossachs! Easy 10-15 minute walk to Stirling city center and the on-site parking is a wonderful convenience. My room was spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious and plentiful. I received a warm welcome upon arrival from both Tim (the proprietor) and wee Pip (his canine companion). I found Tim's sightseeing advice to... More
