After a recent trip to the Highlands, I wrote a review for Bunchrew House in Inverness and The Orchard House in Rothbury and completely forgot about our overnight stay at Osta. On arrival, the reception entrance for the hotel was closed. Had to go through bar area for access to and from the room. Staff helpful though. Terrible service. Unfriendly staff. Breakfast took 1 hour and that was after complaining twice. Rowdy at night. Kettle in room was covered in dust. Bill was wrong on checkout and took half an hour to sort. Restaurant full even although we were paying guests. Would not recommend. more
