Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have been to this campsite a few times now and have really enjoyed it. The facilities are excellent and being right on the coastal footpaths means not having to drive to get to places. Having a quiet beach so close by was brilliant for the kids. The only thing that left us a little frustrated was being told that campers weren’t allowed to use the laundry room as they take the tokens and don’t return them, only those in caravans were able to use them. I’m not sure if this is a new rule as we haven’t needed to use the laundry during previous stays.

Thank you so much for your review, we really appreciate the feedback! We are sorry you were unable to make use of the laundrette during your stay, this is a miscommunication at our end, sorry for the inconvenience caused. Campers are welcome to use the laundry facilities and can purchase the tokens at reception. We are so happy to hear you really enjoyed your stay and made the most of Monkstone beach on our doorstep! We hope to see you again, all the best from the Trevayne Farm Team

Just got home from Trevayne, we had originally booked for 3 nights but extended to 5 as we were having such a lovely time. We had friends staying there too and everyone agreed it’s a great site.
Very clean and covid safe.
We camped and chose a pitch near to one of the shower blocks which was a 30” walk so great with the kids.
You can take your Ice packs to reception to re freeze.
Stunning beach but the walk/climb back is not for the faint hearted ( especially carrying a SUP board )
We were able to BBQ with friends without feeling like we were disturbing anyone and by 10pm everyone respected the 10pm-8am quiet time and kept noise to just a chatter.

Go to saundersfoot for crabbing and great fish & chips.

Only things I would change would be to have fridges to use and a plug in shower block for hairdryer.

Sat at home looking for dates to return !!

Spent 3 nights camping here and was very pleasant. Site was clean and tidy, large shower block / toilet facility, all open plan with warm showers.
Stayed in Tenby field which was a little windy but to be expected given the proximity to the sea! Lovely beach less than 10mins walk, and Saundersfoot and Tenby accessible by foot approx 40 minutes walk (lots of up and down steps).
There is a large chest freezer available for ice packs which was very helpful given it was quite warm during our stay, frustratingly however this is locked up 5.30pm to 9am - not really sure why this can't be left unlocked, or a freezer located in washing-up area maybe on the camping field, having stayed at other campsites the access to the freezer has never been 'restricted' so this was a slight curve ball.
Would stay again, thank you ☺

We stayed for 1 week in August, we booked about 2 months in advance of our stay, arrived at 3 pm and were told that there was “plenty of room” in the camping field and to pitch wherever we liked as pitches not marked. On driving into the field it was difficult to see exactly where the “plenty of room” was! … in over 30 years of camping we have never camped anywhere so rammed, I likened it to a festival! We drove round and round and only pitch we could find was on quite a steep slope at the far end of the field, this was free for obvious reasons! I complained to the site organisers who were not that sympathetic and simply told me that we had arrived too late! In my view the campsite had accepted far too many bookings for the size of field, making camping there simply unpleasant. In addition this meant they struggled to keep the toilets/shower facilities clean due to the footfall, the toilets were nearly always dirty and often no paper. We were there a week and not once did I see any part of the field mown, consequently most of the pitches had long grass and had an unkempt feel. The upside is the location is fab, we loved being walking distance from Saundersfoot and some fab beaches, right on the coastal path too. Unfortunately this is a campsite that relies too heavily on it’s location and needs to up its game in regards to overall management.

Good morning, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback! You were fortunate to get a booking close to your due stay as normally we would advise our potential customers that August is an incredibly busy month for us and we do book up very fast. That being said, we reduced our capacity this year as tents seem to be getting bigger each year! We have an open field for campers and do not allocate pitches, so we ask everybody to leave at least 5m between themselves and others and will not accept any more than our allocated amount of pitches. After a busy weekend, our turnover on the Monday that you arrived, was very high and you happened to be the last booking to check in and therefore choice was more limited but nevertheless available. We pride ourselves on the upkeep of our facilities/ grounds and are extremely grateful to be situated where we are, but would never take that for granted.

We visited this site for the first time last week and are absolutely in love! Its nice and easy to find and boasts some of he most beautiful views we have ever seen, especially at a campsite. You can access the Pembroke coastal path directly from the campsite and walk to both Tenby and Saundersfoot in well under an hour. You also have access to the stunning Monkstone Beach which we had all to ourselves when we visited it on our second night. The facilities are super clean and modern and there are lovely hot free showers available to guests. Speaking of guests, our fellow campers were all very quiet and polite, all families with kids who respected the ‘no noise after 10pm’ rule which suited us down to the ground. Groups are not permitted and I can understand why. It was a really nice family atmosphere which befitted such a lovely site perfectly. The tariffs are extremely reasonable, the staff were friendly and polite, I just can’t fault it! An absolutely wonderful site which we can’t wait to return to.

We spent 5 days in our campervan at Trevayne. Despite some wet & windy weather, we were able to enjoy the fabulous sea views across to the Gower. As the ground was very wet due to the rain, staff were on hand to place boards or tow vans on & off if they ran into difficulty (obviously not an issue in dry weather). We found all the crew very friendly & willing to help. Shop at reception stocks key essentials. Walks from the site down to Monkstone beach or along the cost path to Saundersfoot & Tenby (gets very muddy & slippery after rainfall, wear walking boots, you can walk via the beach but only at low tide). Buses stop at New Hedges village, a 15 minute walk away. Tenby, the tent field has a large shower, loo & wash block. Monkstone, the campervan field only has a small block, which wasn't an issue in April, but would get busy in the height of the season if you don't have any facilities on board. All in all, a lovely spot.

This is a lovely campsite which is between Tenby and Saundersfoot (a walk along the coastal path either way, which is tough in places). We were able to walk safely along the road to New Hedges for a pub meal one evening. We were unlucky that there was a LOT of rain when we were there, but the owner/manager did put out boards so that vans could drive off the grass safely. The staff were friendly to answer questions and the toilets/showers were clean (albeit always wet as the room just didn't dry out, so carrier bags needed for clothes). Would come again - and hope for better weather!!

Spent one night here in September and was thoroughly impressed with the facilities and staff. Seriously spoilt by the showers and washing area that other campsites we stayed at paled in comparison. Views were great towards Saundersfoot and eating out was only a short trip away. I will definitely be back for a longer stay.

The great shame is that one of Britain`s most glorious beaches is only accessible through this farm. A member of the family who owns it made life ridiculous by monitoring who and when amenities were being used. Prison camp rather than camping facility. Never use them again!!!

What a great campsite in a beautiful spot overlooking the sea! Quite a few steps down to the beach but is definitely worth the effort, even in the height of summer it wasn’t crowded with only what seemed like people from the campsite enjoying it. Our three girls played in the sea until almost ten o clock, we didn’t want to leave. Fantastic facilities lovely hot showers, seperate dish washing area and everything so clean. Couldn’t hear anything apart from the birds singing, if you’re looking for a quiet family campsite this is definitely for you, a lovely community atmosphere with all the children playing together in the evening but didn’t hear a thing by about 10:30, perfect. Only 5 mins in the car to lovely saundersfoot, and not far at all to Tenby either. Although i think you can walk to both. Couldn’t fault it, will definitely be returning!

Probably a little late for you but we had no issues with the wind, we did have issues when we went before and it was waterlogged so if it's rained for few days before I'd ring and check it's ok to pitch but it didn't get too windy for us as its got some protection from trees and hedges.
