Stayed for weekend at end of August, weather not brill but hotel made up for it. Food was superb, rooms very clean, attentative service from all staff. Free car park at rear of hotel a bonus. Second time we have stayed here---again the staff were friendly--all areas spotlessly clean and the breakfast wonderful! more

Great location, just off the centre of the village, but the room was tiny and the noise was constant - from the bar, corridors and other rooms. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and professional and breakfast was superb - good food well presented. Overall though, disappointing considering some reviews seen here and on booking.com, with room accomodation... more

Just returned from one nights stay at the Gower, suited us for what we needed it for, bed and shower. Room very small with dated decor, shower not very powerful and paper thin walls, was awoken by the alarm of the people neighboring our room. The redeeming features of this hotel were the very friendly staff and the modern restaurant... more

Quick summary of our stay at The Gower Hotel Reception - busy but at the same time, very friendly and welcoming. Room - (ours was no 14) front view with small balcony, compact but cozy with nice bathroom (shower) Car parking - Hotel has own car park at rear of the building with CCTV Location - spot on. One road... more

Had read reviews and most were really good so we booked for for 5 days, the receiptionist was lovely. We were given a room on the third floor which overlooked the car park, the room was what I would call a bit old fashioned and had a funny smell about it. The bathroom had obviously recently been re-furbished and it... more

Outstandingly helpful and friendly staff iced the cake of this superb short-break. We were impressed by the small but very interesting and good value menu (two courses at £14.95) in the very pleasant Orangery restaurant. The food was cooked and presented with great panache which would not have shamed a much more expensive resturant. An excellent breakfast with a wide... more

We came to Saundersfoot (in the rain, but we managed to make the most of it between the showers) expecting a little seaside village with countless naff hotels and B&B's. We were suprised at just how close to the beach this hotel is. Yes, it is situated one road back, and a main road at that, but the slower pace... more

We stayed on a Sat night and the hotel is close to the town's only nightclub... despite being dubbed a 'sleepy town', Saundersfoot was not particularly sleepy after hours and we were woken several times by the locals outside the hotel. The walls were also paper thin and the room a little small. The breakfast and dining area however were... more

We only stayed one night (wished it had have been more) on our way to Cardiff to see the Rugby. This hotel was a little gem. Rooms were not huge, but were very comfortable, tastefully decorated, not pretentious and with a number of thoughtful touches that make a hotel room that much more comfortable. For example, the large very comfortable... more
