We stayed at Cherry Garth for 3 nights in April. There are two self catering studio apartments (B&B also available) called Ask and Embla. We stayed in Embla which is small but perfectly formed! It consists of one room with a very comfy bed, two armchairs, table and chairs and a fully equiped kitchenette. There is a separate bathroom with shower etc. We could also have had use of the garden and furniture (if it had stopped snowing!) All beautifully done and extremely comfortable. The owners are very friendly and couldn't do enough for us (cream tea on arrival!)
It is located on the main road through Thornton le Dale but even sleeping with a window open, we didn't notice any road noise. Walking distance to pubs, restaurants etc in Thornton and only 5 mins drive to Pickering. Highly recommended, we will be going back! more
