Tucked away in the hills above Pickering, Cropton Forest Lodge is a great place to get away from it all. The accommodation is cosy and comfortable, whilst the surrounding hills and moorland provide endless opportunities for walking and cycling. The cottage was excellent: very comfortable, nicely decorated, and very clean. There were excellent facilities both in the cottage itself (dishwasher, flat-screen TV, DVD player etc) and on-site, with laundry facilities available and maps, books, DVDs etc to borrow.
