Simply perfect. Barbara and Neville and wonderful, helpful hosts. The house and location are stunning. The food was amazing. As mentioned before, the 'little things' all add up to a really special stay. more

All of the previous reviews about this five - star B&B are true, having read them prior to my visit I was anticipating it to be good, even great, but it is even better than that. We booked the best room, the white room, all I can say is try it, you will not be disapointed, its the little extras... more

Had a wonderful Sunday night here for our first wedding anniversary. Tea and cake in the lounge when we arrived; our pink bedroom, and the bathroom, were both lovely, large and clean, with a brilliant view - would love to see it in snow or sunshine. And I have to recommend the breakfast of eggs, bacon, mushrooms, fried bread, toast... more

Neville and Barbara provided us with the most fantastic short break accomodation experience we could imagine. The quality of the accomodation was excellent, the room we had was very well appointed both in terms of taste and its facilities. It is also well suited for disabled visitors. The level of service was superb with nothing being too much trouble. Afternoon... more

The village, property and experience was excellent. The owners, Barbara and Neville, as previous reviews infer, are attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. In addition to this, they are not invasive. The quality of the accomodation has been developed to a very high standard. more

My wife and I stayed at the Old Vicarage for two nights. It was one of the best B & Bs we have ever stayed in. We were in the 'Blue Room'with a view looking out to the rolling countryside. The room is completely updated with a state of the art bathroom. There is no bath just a shower but... more

We can only confirm the earlier reviews. The hosts are welcoming & helpful in every way. The accommodation is spacious & very comfortable. The breakfasts with fresh fruit & home made bread etc are a real joy. Pickering is 10 minutes drive with a wide choice of restaurants. Just a word of warning: the walk down to Levisham station is... more

My husband and I stayed at Toftly View for 3 days on our honeymoon, and it was utter perfection! We found this luxurious B&B through Trip Advisor, and I can see why it came so highly recommended; nothing was lacking. We stayed in the "Green Room" which was very pretty with the largest and most accommodating bathroom I've ever seen.... more
