Hubby, Penny (pooch) and I visited for 6 nights at the end of March this year, our second stay here. After last year it was "a must visit again", so we did. We were made to feel like friends and really welcomed. Nadine and Malc can't do enough for you. Their hospitality is second to none. Breakfasts are freshly cooked... More

My brother and I have just come back from a little weekend away in the countryside and we were lucky enough to stay at the amazing Five Acre View! I don't normally leave reviews on Trip Advisor but I feel that this place truly does deserve all the praise it gets! Amazing views, Lovely owners and very homely! Highly recommend... More

Ours was a last-minute, out-of-season, visit, but we were made to feel truly at home, and now can't wait to return when the weather gets warmer to match the welcome we got. Superb views, a breakfast that kept us going for the rest of the day, a charming and friendly hostess, and the best attention ever for Fudge the dog!

We came across 5 Acre View by chance because we bought our Cocker Spaniel from the owners Mal & Nadine. The farm is situated about a mile from Rosedale Abbey set in a valley with, yes you've guessed it a five acre view to die for. Nadine and Mal make you feel very welcome from the moment you set foot... More

Four of us (me, wife and two daughters) plus Lily the hound stayed for two nights from 31st October 2012. Unfortunately, it was dark, wet and miserable by the time we arrived to a warm welcome. That made opening the curtains a lovely surprise in the morning. Staggering views, then down to a breakfast that defeated us all. We've stayed... More

We made a last minute booking for a couple of nights here and were very pleased we did! We were made to feel very welcomed and settled into a lovely room with a fantastic view. A comfy night lead to an excellent breakfast setting us up well for some walking in the area (which the rain cut a little short!).... More

Relaxing weekend, excellent breakfasts and Ben (old labrador) was made very welcome. Shame the weather was so wet... we need to book again.

We just enjoyed a wonderful night at Five Acre View. The location and view is stunning, the rooms were clean and very relaxing, the bed comfy, the breakfast was very good and the owner Nadine couldn't have been more accommodating. Our little dog was made most welcome and everything we needed for our wee baby boy was on hand. I'dstrongly... More

We have two golden retrievers and the problem with going away is that many supposed dog-friendly places only allow one dog, and don't allow you to leave them in the room whilst you eat or go out. Five Acre View at Rosedale Abbey couldn't be more different. Not only do you have the most fantastic view possible, the most comfortable... More

We thoroughly recommend Five Acre View. Nadine was able to give us a booking at very short notice and made us very welcome. The room is comfortable, the ensuite pristine and the view stunning. Breakfast is taken in the family so be prepared to have a chat whilst eating. The actual breakfasts are gargantuan! One is welcome to stay on... More
