My wife and I went for a two day break to the hotel. We booked through travel zoo with full board and a four hour bar each evening. The hotel takes you to the past and parts dates from 12th century. It is surrounded by walks and a small lake. There is a mirriad of drawing rooms and the restaurant... More

We stayed in the Madely Court Hotel for two nights and had a great break. The hotel includes a lovely restaurant which we visited on both nights - the food was fantastic, especially the blue cheese bon bons (starter) and the creme brulee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you visit the area, I recomend a trip to... More

Firstly, let me say that this s a lovely hotel, great position for exploring, great value on the al inclusive package. The staff in the restaurant were lovely, the food delicious but stay away from room 48 (unless they feedback that the plumbing is fixed). this was our second visit to this hotel taking advantage of their all inclusive offer.The... Booked an evening meal and overnight stay with breakfast as a birthday treat for my husband, and it could not have been better!! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service could not be faulted, the surroundings are superb, the whole place is so clean and tidy, and relaxing, our room was warm and cosy, beautifully... This hotel was originally built as a Priory and the old part is extremely interesting. The dining room has an open fire and was very relaxing place to eat. We were given on arrival a room in the old part and it had lovely beams but as it did not have a proper shower we asked to be moved and... More

Lovely hotel with antique furntiture in some rooms, Mobile receiption is awful and compounded by the fault wifi which is free although you need to request tokens and flaky at times. Breakfast and service was really good in the morning, The grounds were amazing and this hotel would suit a couple wanting to get away from everything. More

*** Overview The value of the room was very good; we only paid £80 for 2 nights, on a room only basis. We wouldn’t have paid much more if breakfast wasn’t included. We did find the service rather lacklustre at times. See below for more info. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and regard we got what we... More

Just got back from Mercure Telford Madeley Court Hotel. Stunning hotel, fantastic location for Ironbridge ect. The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. We were fortunate enough to stay in room 3 (lakeside) in the old building. ONLY drawback was the doors, arches, in the bathroom. Being 6"2 there is alot of leaning over.. Bumped head a few time.. However,... More

Hello and thank you for your comments. we think the original inhabitants on Madeley Court were a lot shorter in the past and the Historic rooms do present an interesting challenge for our taller guests. We are glad you enjoyed your stay - come back soon. Noel Mines General Manager More
