Stayed here for one night (29 May) on 3 night visit to Sevenoaks. I was travelling with my two children and had been told on booking that there was room for "camp beds" for them to sleep on in the ensuite twin room offered. When I arrived the owner had set up 2 "beds" (they were more like stretchers and not at all suitable for my 12 year old son) on the landing outside the room which was open to the rest of the guests staying. She seemed surprised at my concern that the children were not actually in a room but staying athe top of the stairs! Further she had told me it would cost me £20 per night for each of them in addition to the cost of the room for the privilege (meaning it would cost £100 per night as opposed to the £60 advertised rate)!!!! I moved the childrens beds into the room immediately. The room was clean but had no useful wardrobe, not a single picture on the wall, no TV, to tea/coffee making facilities (these were all downstairs) and no useful bedside... more
