Whilst on a nostalgia trip, (Aberdovey being the place of childhood family holidays) booked into Trfeddian late in the afternoon. We were very pleased to accept the special price for late booking and had the perfect night's rest in the most idyllic setting, food, room and facilities were just what we needed. Thanks folks.

Travelled with a three-year old and we were made to feel very welcome in this traditional hotel with spectacular views and excellent service. Very attentive, helpful and courteous staff throughout this family-run establishment but especially in the dining room. Food was excellent and whilst portions are not huge, at the end of the 5 courses you are full! Even though... More

My husbands family have been visiting this hotel for 30+ years and I have been visiting for the last 12. We recently had a weekend at the hotel to celebrate a family members birthday. It is the most wonderful hotel that seems to have a unique touch of making all ages of guests happy. The hotel has many amenities including... More

Wonderful views of the sea and a 5 mins walk through dunes to wide sandy beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Indoor pool very nice. Pitch and putt and kids games room popular with our kids. Wondered how older clientele would be with kids - but they felt welcome all over the hotel. We opted not to do children's tea... More

We have always found this hotel and ALL it's Staff including the Boss man to be friendly and willing to assist. The food is beyond praise. Every meal a delight. The rooms are well appointed and beautifully clean. There s an indoor Swimming pool and a lovely Pitch an Putt area. We have no hesitation in recommending The Trefeddian ....although... More

My partner and I have just returned from a great weekend at the Trefeddian. This was our second visit so we knew what to expect and found things to be just as good as on our last visit. The food and service was excellent.. Our room had a sea view but no balcony this time but it was comfortable and... More

We are from Australia and drove to Aberdovey from Warrington for a night stopover, expecting that we would just B&B on the Saturday night. However we found the Main Street a little busy and a couple of B & B's were no vacancy. There was a hotel on the hill back there a little out of town and we will... More

We were persuaded, if not cajoled, by friends to have a two night break with them at this a regular haunt of theirs. We were somewhat apprehensive about what we would find, but the hotel is really not bad at all. The lounges, bar and dining room are all rather comfortable, especially those areas where you have seats by the... More

A quiet position hotel, well off coastal road. A pleasant walk around the golf course and stroll into Aberdovey. The restaurant lay out is quality and matches up to the dinner and wine, an excellent event. Repeated at breakfast. We were unfortunate to have an excellent bedroom close to a noisy lift, other rooms were attractive whether with sea or... More
