The Gilsland Spa is a time-warp hotel, and Phoenix Nights come to life. Just the place for you if you are on a coach trip, like dodgy decor, bingo and loud rather than good cabaret singing. unfortunately this hotel mainly caters for oaps, it is unsuitable for guests under the age of 60, the rooms were basic and in need of updating, when dining you are expected to share a table with at least 4 other guests so there was no privacy when having meals, best thing about visiting this hotel was the drive home !! more
