I wanted to take my husband on a special birthday get away, somewhere far enough from our home that we would need to stay over night after having our celebratory dinner. I was having a hard time finding a place that wasn't fully booked, when I happened upon Farlam Hall Hotel. Despite being told that they were nearly full, we... more

We stayed in mid-August on a three-nights half-board package. We had mixed luck with the weather, but the quality of the hotel compensated for this. Our third impression was even better as we were given an equally... more

The setting is as romantic as it gets. My husband and I stayed here for a few nights. The hotel is family run and are excellent hosts. Farlam Hall is really very beautiful inside and the food is the best we'd ever had. more

When we arrived the owner was waiting for us and helped us in with our bags, it is a very gracious and welcoming hotel, everyone was so nice, the room was beautiful and the bathroom big and cosy. The food was good and beautifully served, the raspberry meringue was the best I've tasted. It was certainly pricey but worth it... more
