We had a lovely stay here over the bank holiday weekend. The site is well looked after and is super super quiet. All you can hear are birds and the occasional noise from the sheep on site. We stayed in a bungalow. First thing we noticed when we opened the door was how lovely and clean it was. It was... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during the Easter holidays and really enjoyed it. We decided to stay in a wig wam (large pod) which was great. It was a fantastic size for the 2 of us and included a bed, fridge, electricity, microwave and small heater. Only downside to the site was the shower facilities. Felt like they needed... More

We originally wanted to camp but decided that with the recent heavy rain it wouldn't be practical. We took a gamble and booked a wig-wam at this campsite which isn't a member of the esteemed Camping and Caravanning Club. The gamble paid off as the setting was serene and the toilet and washing facilities were absolutely fine (despite my initial... More

If, like me, the thought of being holed up in a leaky tent fills you with dread, then it might be an idea to try an ecopod - a dry, clean, shed-like structure with carpet; little patio doors, curtain and a power-point for charging your phone (you may laugh but it was a god-send as this place really is in... Stayed in a wigwam for a Saturday night and loved it. The Wigwam has a fridge, kettle and microwave and pleny of space to store your stuff. The settee comes together to form a massive bed! There was only two of us and it was brilliant! OUtside seating area and place to BBQ. Its just great, beautiful site, really clean.... More

What a fantastic site! My wie and I took our two young children (5 and 3) for a first "glamping" experience! We stayed in one of the sites wooden pods and had so much fun! Really warm and cosy! Site staff were friendly and had everything we needed. We spent a morning on a quest for hidden letters on their... More

I agree that the site is pleasant, not too big. One loo and shower is much better than the others, therefore this was usually in use at peak times. Upon arrival I had to go in search of the owner, who couldn't hear me as he was strimming and wearing some music headphones. We are Mom and Dad age 40... More

I can't think of anything negative to report about my 5 night stay in a wigwam at this site. The woodland setting is really idyllic. The accommodation, facilities and grounds are clean and well maintained. There is a well stocked site shop, and the proprietors were very welcoming and friendly. The location of the site allowed us easy access via... More

The wife and I wanted to go camping somewhere, that was close to some good touristy stuff, yet still tucked away in a secluded spot and good for wildlife. Ruthern, ticked ALL of these boxes. We were here from end of May to Early June. So as per usual reviews here is the run down: LOCATION: The welcome pack gives... More
