My wife and I stayed here from 28th to 31st October 2011, second time we've stayed here. Good location, basic but reasonable facilities, pleasant but fairly ineffectual staff. The staff were very friendly and helpful ... excellent in fact. Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean, well aired, and the beds were absolutely fine. The bathroom was also great although the screen for the overhead shower wasn't 100% effective ... no real problem however. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues. More

Slightly shabby and in need of a makeover but fine for a quick night's stopover - not really deserving of such negative reviews. Central location, safe carpark, friendly staff and 24 hour reception. The location of the hotel is excellent. Handy for train and town centre. Unfortunately our room, the bathroom in particular, was unclean. The hotel was uncomfortably hot, even with the radiator turned off. I would not use this hotel again. More

the location is excellent, only a few minutes from the BR/tube station. the rooms are quite different (i stayed in 2), one was spacious and quiet, the other was cramped and close to reception: noisy! the staff is friendly, but not alwas very helpful. breakfast is decent More
