I don't know if the previous reviewer stayed at the same hotel as us, unless there are two Coach & Horses Hotels in Kew Green because we returned after our previous stay two years ago and still love this place. Parking was a little difficult at first as the underground car park was full but there is another car park... more

Stayed here for a family wedding, Hotel is in a great little spot for the church and other ameneties, however it needs a good clean and a few things sorting out. Generally the service was poor, everything was an effort and the cleanup after breakfast took ages. I was sat from 10am - 12.30 in the bar and there were... more

Stayed here for convenient access to The National Archives (less than a 10-minute walk away) and was very impressed with the hotel. I had wondered if, being a pub, it would be very noisy but it was one of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed in. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the waitress at breakfast who... more

We were disappointed with this place. The corridors were all badly marked and worn, the mattress was of very low quality, there were cobwebs in the room. Wireless internet didn't work (and we were not warned about this when we booked). Breakfast was OK, but overall it seemed very poor value for money. more

I stayed here two nights with a group rate attending BSI meetings. It was comfortable and a good value. It is out of the way; but I found a relatively easy and very inexpensive route using London Transport. Take the Piccadilly Line to the South Ealing Station (I was arriving from LHR). Cross South Ealing Road to the #65 bus... more

Some public areas of the hotel are a wee bit shabby and in need of a freshen up but our room was pleasant and spacious, with a smart bathroom and excellent shower. Staff friendly. Evening meal not fantastic - my fish was nice but my husband's steak pie clearly came out of a packet or a tin, though to be... more

Visited relatives in the area and stayed two nights at the Coach & Horses on Kew Green. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We invited our relatives to join us for dinner in their restuarant one night and the food and service we received were excellent. I can also recommend the breakfast, - delicious... more

Stayed four nights while doing ancestry research at the National Archives. Features we liked: 1) no-smoking throughout hotel, including pub, 2) clean room, 3) friendly staff. We are planning to return in 2008 to continue our research and hope to stay at the Coach & Horses again. Things that could use some improvement: speed of breakfast serving staff. more

This hotel is well situated if you are visiting the National Archives, Kew Gardens or Richmond. Nevertheless its standards of cleanliness are lamentable. When we visited for one night between Christmas and New Year the bed linen was dirty on both the outside and inside. When we asked to change room, the same was true in the second bedroom. The... more
