Last August we spent 5 days at La Closerie. We enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful. Rooms are nice and clean. Hosts are very friendly. Only 1 comment though, price/quality of the breakfast could be better.

The hotel is newly renovated, rooms are very clean and nice. Staff was very friendly. An outdoor pool is available. Hotel is situated about 1 hour north of Bordeaux, in the middle of vineyards, very quiet. Ideal to enjoy the wine countryside. Breakfast (10 Euros) includes croissant, baguette, coffee, orange juice, jam.

We stayed for two days and really enjoyed. This is an easy going place with lots of wineyards and other places to visit nearby.

We stayed at this hotel the 21.05.10 on our way to Portugal. The hotel, restaurant and facilities are well maintained and the surroundings are nice and very calm. The hotel is runned by Fabienne and her mother, an excellent cook and both do guarantee you a charming stay. We will certainly stop-over again when we are in the neighbourhood again.... More
