We were moved to this hotel having originally booked to stay elsewhere and we were a little underwhelmed. It is not clear what facilities give rise to the 4* rating as there aren't really any facilities other than a garden which has a terrace with good views of the Valley of the Temples. The service was unimpressive with somewhat unwelcoming... More

The setting for this hotel is magnificent ....below the Greeknperiod ruins of Agrigento which you can see lit at night, in a beautiful garden setting. We had no hot water. The room was very small with no air conditioning which was needed. Bathroom design wa such that it was difficult to get in and out. No shower and no stand... More

This charming hotel could use a little upgrading. The courtyard with comfortable seating beautiful flowers and wifi which comes and goes is most relaxing after a day of touring the Greek ruins. The breakfast was adequate. But all in all this hotel was so soothing and peaceful and that is why I would recommend it.

Moderately nice but it's hard to see anything positive about this hotel if you cannot find it after a long and extra drive. So I do not recommend it. It lies next to a busy road, it has no restaurant so you have to get out once again in the evening and hopefully find your way back. Staff is friendly... More

Small room, noise of street hinders, lamps not working, no shelf in shower, lies in a desert space, very very hard to find. Staff is very friendly, but no dinner in hotel is possible, you'll have to go to a sister hotel some 800 mtrs away. Conclusion: 4 stars no way

A beautiful old building with gardens, fountains , views and covered patio area , unfortunately the gardens need tending , the fountains are dry and the outside seating needs cleaning. This place has seen better times and needs a lot of money spent on it to make it a 4 star. I'm not sure if there was a lounge and... More

Lovely old building beautiful setting however inadequate signs delayed our arrival by some time super view of Temples from large patio area which has very comfortable seating in the morning or with an aperitif when the lighting for the temples has just come alive .pleasant and helpful staff nice bedrooms/ bathrooms not large but pleasant decor slightly fraying around edges... If somebody claim to be a four star hotel and charge for it should also provide You with a 4 star service otherwise it is just a normal fraud and that word describes this hotel best. The only good side of this place is the location, with great panoramic views of Valle dei Templi and very nice although bit ran... More

Like the other reviews, I have only great things to say about the hotel staff, the quality and cleanliness of the hotel. Getting to the hotel can be tricky because of it's somewhat hidden location, but the hotel has signs posted from the main road to help guide you. Once off the main road, drive carefully as the side roads... More

We only stayed one night but wished we had time for another one or two days. Our room (209) had a small balcony with a lovely view of the temples. Beautiful gardens and good breakfast out doors. Dinner at the sister hotel Baglio della Luna was superb. The staff was very helpful. The only problem we had was finding the... More
