I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and the town of Alassio. We basically wanted to split a week's Spring holiday between a sandy beach resort and a lake resort in Northern Italy, and had never stayed in the Alassio area before. Great 3 star hotel - the location is the big selling point. Directly on the beach in a quiet part of the town. The rooms are spacious by Italian standards. The sound proofing is not great though - you could hear water running through the pipes from rooms on the upper floors. Having said that though we managed to sleep... more

Nice hotel in a quiet location by a beatiful, well kept own beach. The hotel is quite average itself, but the extremely friendly and nice staff make your holiday special. Just returned from 5 nights in Hotel Lido in Alassio which has been possibly the best relaxing break I have ever had!
