We booked this for the first night of our first trip to Sardinia, and would have booked for longer, but this was the last night of their season before closing for the winter. The owner was charming, the cottage we were allocated was delightful, the grounds of the property relaxing and beautiful, and the evening meal delicious (if a little... More

My wife and I spent 10 nights here in September 2012. We stayed in a suite which was of generous size with a comfortable bed, plenty of room for cloathes, and a generous lounge area opening onto a large patio with views across open country. The large bathroom had a good shower. The rooms were beautifully cleaned and tidied daily. An... More

we chose to stay there during our three days in the costa smeralda area instead of booking a hotel in one of the coastline village. we were really glad we made that choice. we were blown away by the property. it is made of several low buildings spread in a very green area where you have a very nice pool... We were really looking forward to our stay at the Stazzo - we had booked the converted 1850 farmhouse for our holiday - but felt let down by the management company 'Villa & Charme' through which we had made our booking. First of all, the directions to the resort were hopeless and we had to be guided in to the... More

What a find! We recently stayed at Lu Ciaccaru for 3 days and we were blown away! Located in the countryside this is a really chic little hotel - not the usual crowded, run of the mill accommodation but the perfect place to relax, unwind and recharge the batteries. The situation is perfect as you can visit many of the... More

We spent a couple of nights here over Easter and were very disappointed. The suites were dark and gloomy and generally uncomfortable, although the beds in Sardinia were generally uncomfortable so not a hanging offence, although better quality linens and bedding would be expected for the price. The bathrooms smelt of mould and felt damp and cold. It took ages... More

September was a good choice: we had attentive service, excellent room with view over the countryside and the village of arzachena, quiet mornings around the pool and not so crowded beeches at 15-20 min by car. away from the crowd, this beautiful property is one of a kind in sardegna, where often hotels are newly build and try to maximize... A very nice complex of junior suites, only we did not get one as booked on Booking but we got one double room, bunker bads used as matrimonial bed, afterwards it was our anniversary trip as well as my birthday and no special care was taken of us, nervous staff even for breakfast, overall inspite of the great location we... My husband and I just returned from spending a week here. The location is only slightly off the beaten track..just enough so to give tranquility but a few minutes from fabulous beaches and ancient ruins. There are very few rooms and 2 villas so it is very personal. Our room had a lovely patio as well. The rooms are large,... More

We spent the Easter weekend here, a quiet, country retreat. Geraldina gives the impression that she has spent a career in the hospitality and tourism business. She is much more than that and the environment she oversees is lovely. A pastoral location with good accomodations, good food and wine, and an uncanny ability to find guests who are lost.
