We recently stayed at the Villaggio Hemingway for a week from 16 August. Unlike the previous poster we didn't have any real problems with mossies when we were there. I got a couple of bites but the rest of the family didn't get any and we were able to sit outside in the evenings and didn't use any mosquito repellant.... more
Mosquitos will eat you! We had to come home after 3 days as I developed an allergic reaction to the bites I had 71 bites by day 2, I developed infections and decided to come home as did not want to end up in hospital over there also the nearest doc was 20KM away and no hospital nearby so I... more
