We arrived in Caserta and walked to the nearest hotel to the train station for one night. It was adequate clean but small and dark. We were probably the only guest in October, we went to See the Reggio Palace italys Versaille well worth the trip. Caserta is a desert no outdoor cafes but I would not have missed the gardens to the palace. Go better prepared that us read your guide book and you will do better
