We stayed in this city only one night but i liked it. We chose this hotel for the location . It is small city easy to walk wherever you start from . This hotel is clean and nice with proper breakfast and most important close to train station but still very quite. If you do not need to wake up... More

Went to this hotel already 3 times. Central, clean and most of the staff are quite helpful. BUT one particular person who takes care of the breakfast arrangement is rude and arrogant and doesn't have a clue how to deal with customers. Last year he complained because I took a couple of boiled eggs instead of taking only one. This... More

We stayed at Hotel Mediterraneo for one night as part of quick visit to Cefalu. The hotel is in a good central location, 5mins walk to the main street in the old town and a few more minutes to the beach. Our room was very clean and tidy as you would expect of a good 3 star hotel. Rooms are... More

A very convenient, friendly and quiet hotel. It is close to the centre, the beach and the station for Palermo. The room was nicely designed: light, airy and clean with a view to a small park. Breakfast was everything that I like and needed, although presentation could have been better. Highly recommended

We arrived in the hotel and there was a brilliant receptionist, whom was explaining everything about the hotel and facilities and nearest amenities. The room was massive (old fashion style) and it was much cleaned. Big toilette, but the shower box was too small. The bed was amazing (for me), but not for my wife, as she thought that the... More

I laughed when I read that the other reviewer said the hotel was hard to find because it is literally across the street from the train station (though perhaps the other reviewer was driving). It is great if you are taking the train and have heavy luggage, which we did. The hotel is spacious, clean, and an easy walk to... More

We had the pleasure of staying 5 nights at this hotel, and can recommend it strongly. This small hotel offers new rooms with excellent standard. The air condition worked flawlessly. The mattress was a true double mattress and very comfortable. The TV set had a plethora of channels. The balcony with table and chairs was ideal for luncheon. There was... More

Well located hotel on one floor of an apartment block, well positioned for the train station, beach and historic centre. Entrance is across the road from the station and down a flight of steps, so shielded from traffic noise and overlooking thickly planted grounds which help to shade the spacious breakfast room. Rooms are spacious, light and airy and well... More

I stayed one night at Hotel Mediterraneo on my way to Milazzo (late May 2012). I chose it because of its proximity to the station and the favourable reviews it had on Trip Advisor. For the price I was expecting a basic single room - small, probably old and rather plain though clean (I had no recollection of having seen... More
