Stay away from this nightmare. I cannot think of one positive aspect of this hotel. It's expensive, and they haven't attempted to make it nice at all. The paintwork has never been finished, the bathrooms have mould (that is if you can squeeze in the bathrooms to find out). The rooms are tiny and soooo cheap and plastic-y! They knew the lights didn't work in the corridors but didn't bother replacing them until we complained that we couldn't see the keyhole, the cleaners did the vacuming at 7.15am outside our door. The noise from the road was horrendous all night.

As for the town itself. My gawd - it felt like we were walking around the movie set from Cocoon. Seriously - stay away from the whole of Chianciano Terme. more
