Cortina is very expensive, especially in August. This hotel is bang in the centre of Cortina and offers a pleasant 2* B&B stay. Whilst it wasn't luxury it was clean, friendly, convenient and has a fantastic restaurant. There are only 8 rooms.

Our room was on the side and did suffer from some late evening noise, but only if the windows are open and you're a light sleeper (like myself). The staff were incredibly friendly and having booked 5 nights, when we asked to stay a couple more (thus making the magic 7 - which all hotels in the mountains seem to want) they were happy to negotiate on the price without too much prompting.

If you want simple, small and friendly then this place is perfect. more
