Front desk staff unable to accomodate requests like additional blanket and directions to the internet cafe. Food in the restaurant below average for Italy. Very expensive wines. Stayed in a single room and it was perfect for a solo traveler under the height of 5'8. They had a twin bed that if you were over 6 feet would have your... more

We stayed in the Hotel Splendid in Venezia in May / 2008. Tho hotel is in a very convenient location , a few steps to the San Marco square and Rialto bridge. I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Everything was totally under the standard you would expect froma four star hotel. Apart the fact that everything is pretty old, but whne things are not maintained that is even worst.
