We were looking for a boutique luxury hotel in Cortina. Unfortunately the Hotel de la Poste did not deliver. There is nothing dreadfully wrong and the hotel is well-located, well run and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel immensely. The hotel has a wonderful comfortable feeland the location is excellent. Another review has commented it is not best located for the ski lifts, but the ski bus stops practically at the front door, and there is a taxi stand there too. We had booked into the Mirimonte but moved to the Della Poste after feeling seperated from the main village at Cortina. We had a great expereince there and would highly recommend this property. We stayed at the Hotel de la Poste for a long weekend in January '06. We found it thanks to the 'Hip Hotels' guide to Italy. It is really well situated on the main drag in Cortina which is the pedestrianised Corso d'Italia. The staff were lovely - no young kids not knowing what they are doing here. Instead, the... more

We have stayed at the Hotel de la Poste in Cortina Italy for the past 4 years during the Womens World Cup Ski Match and it is an excellent hotel.
