We stayed at this hotel for three nights after leaving the Casa Ruffino. What a difference. The views are incredible. The rooms are spacious with most having large balconies to enjoy the views. Reception is friendly, and the breakfast is adequate. One day however most had been eaten by a coach load of large Americans! All the pastries and croissants... more

The location is so nice that we had a hard time peeling ourselves off the terrace one day. Beautiful, shady, lovely! (We also loved that there was a computer available for guest use.) And Erice was one of our favorite places in Sicily. Trapanese food was one of my favorites of the regional Sicilian cuisines, and there are wonderful restaurants... more

Really friendly helpful staff. Hotel a little out of the way and quiet. Rooms clean but very basic and breakfast only average. Nice place for a couple of nights but not for a romantic or luxury stay. more

Best appreciated if you drive......we loved Erice and this hotel.....we felt like were at a retreat. Our room was large and charming.....the only problem was it was quite cool and it took some time to figure out how the remote control for the heater worked....would have been helpful to include some directions in the room....otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very... more

We stayed at La Pineta for the three nights we were in Erice. I thought the hotel was clean, comfortable and charming. I'd definitely stay there again. On a side note, however, I wouldn't use Erice as a base for excursions in the area unless you have a car. We had some adventures connecting up with bus routes and funiculars... more

the hotel is located directly outside the city walls and very convenient to explore Erice. The hotel consists of more than 20 small bungalows, connected via staircases, each with 1 living/sleeping room and seperated bathroom.
