Beautiful grounds and lovely pools, especially the indoor spa. Our room was just fine and it looked over the lush surroundings of the outside pool. Went there as a single traveller. The hotel is good for families and couples, but as a single I would have a couple of recommendations how to improve. Rooms are large and clean. We stayed here on Sept. 10 with our bus tour. After being in Taormina that day, it was wonderful to sit outside on the balcony of our room and see the hilltop town, especially when it was lit up at night. With two children, we were concerned about the size of a shared room but were delighted with our accommodation of a huge double bed and two singles. Proper beds - no campbeds or sofabeds. Hotel was beautiful, lovely pool area with friendly , helpful staff. The only problem we enountered was the evening meal on half board. I am not a lover of tinned peas and carrots - served with most meals - sometimes tinned green beans. The lack of any fresh vegetables and fruit was very disappointing.
