We stayed at Locanda Miranda in May 2005 and thought it excellent. It's immaculately clean and well-managed and very tastefully decorated with subtle furnishings, antiques and intriguing paintings. The food is really delicious - all seafood and pasta, so not for committed carnivores (Michelin star). It's been a while, but we had a fabulous stay here while hiking the Cinque Terra. Inexperienced travellers, we did not investigate the idea of eating dinner elsewhere and were treated to 4 nights of sea bass. Now the sea bass was wonderful, and inventively prepared every night, but....meals are available in the small town down the road as well.... more
