We hadn't been abroad for some time as a family and were keen to find a hotel suitable for a 16 year old and an autistic boy of 11. The Majestic exceeded our expectations being friendly, comfortable and relaxing. Our son is very sensitive to unfamiliar surroundings and we always fear he will not settle. We need not have worried.... more

Visited at start of September - never seen so many noisy ill mannered children in one place ! No provision for people who want to relax and be quiet - families monopolise all the gardens and both pools - why ? Surely easy enough to allocate one pool / garden area, adults only ? Restaurant gives new meaning to 'fast... more

We've just returned from a 10 day stay at the Majestic Palace. The hotel was great - spacious grounds, clean, lots to do, food was OK and plentiful, free drinks a great bonus and the staff were very helpful. The bar prices were very reasonable. We travelled with two young children. The family room we stayed in was great and... more

We just could not find one thing to complain about at this hotel. Lovely welcome. Spotless rooms which were a good size with large bathroom, balcony with a super view, fridge, TV and air-conditioning. The meals were excellent and having four lunches on top of our breakfasts and dinners for the half board price was a bonus, as was having... more

We could not fault the overall standard of this hotel and really enjoyed our week's stay - the free wine and beer made an enoromous difference! The gardens were lovely to sunbathe in and unlike others we had no problem finding a lounger - they were there in abundance (we preferred to relax in one of the upper, more peaceful... more

Outstanding service, it really made the difference and set this hotel apart. The grounds, facilities, rooms, pools, food were all excellent. I would definitely recommend it and would definitely go again. It is worth noting that if you have young children, as we did, it isn't easy to walk into town. It's also very dangerous with a pushchair, so take... more

The hotel is set about a 20-25 minute walk from town and is set up in the hills, with amazing views of the lake. The hotel is up a steep hill with no shops etc nearby, so it is a hike to and from town. The rooms are nice and clean, but it is worth paying extra for the superior... more

We stayed at the Majestic Palace for one week (me & my fiancé and his mother[74] & brother). We booked through Thomas Cook, our rep was on her 3rd year on the lake and was very knowledgeable about the area and friendly. We were there during the heatwave with temperatures in the mid 30s very hot. We had rooms in... more
