Everything about this place was really good. Great position, very good restaurant attached, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are basic and spotlessly clean, though they lack a bit of 'soundproofing'. Hotel organised my airport transfers for a very reasonable price. Not right on the lake, but one minute away. 2* and very reasonable price.

I spent 4 nights in malcesine in another hotel but ate in this restaurant on two evenings. It is extremely welcoming-it was an unexpected cold spell and the indoor terrace was lovely and warm with plenty of outdoor heaters. The staff were attentive and efficient. We stayed at the alpino from 27 October for 7days. It is very well run by the family and very comfortable. Our room had everything we needed including toiletries. The food at the hotel is so good that we ate there every evening.The owner deducts 10% when you eat there as a resident. Highly reccommended.
