Tucked away in the abundant quiet of the most striking limestone clifftop in Massa Lubrense lies the beautifully appointed Hotel Vista di Capri and its heavenly views of the Capri and Ischia islands. Roam peacefully through a private olive grove ripe with Mediterranean culture and relish the Sorrento Coast art de vivre on our sunset rooftop bar.

Absolutely disgusting. Dirty and terrible communication. We booked 4 nights for our honeymoon. It is a 40-50 euro taxi ride from Sorrento main center or a 15 minute bus ride on a winding road that you must walk down with unprotected sidewalk. We were told there would be shuttles however that is only to take you down to the Playa Maya beach club. These are not our complaints about the hotel. Room 419 has a horrible musky stench, almost urine like. Upon inspection, we found out it was due to BLACK MOLD in the vents. We tried airing it out by opening the windows but there are so many mosquitoes, it was not a viable option. The entire room as disgusting, hair found all over the floor, in the shower, and on our bed. There were dirty stained towels placed on our bed. Rocks and dirt all over the floor. Trash and used towels were littered all over the hallways getting to our rooms. We were denied a room change as they said on the phone (due to no one at reception) there were no rooms available. If we wanted to speak to the manager Luigi, he would be there at 7 AM. We toughed it out the first night only to be told by a young blonde lady Luigi isn’t here the next morning when we turned in the keys. She did not apologize, nor help us, stating handling refunds are not her problem and for us to send an email instead. She could not even get a taxi for us, so we went back on the bus with our 2 large suitcases to leave. The hotel still is refusing refunds, despite us checking out early and providing documentation thru email and even a receipt from another hotel we booked instead in Sorrento. They did not even have an apology for us and are now arguing with the travel agency we booked thru, stating there are no records of us leaving early. Do not make the mistake of staying here. Stay in Sorrento instead.…

We loved this place. Large rooms huge comfortable bed with clean linens and a fabulous view. Good airco in my room. The breakfast on the sun roof is magnificent with a wide range of cooked and cold and delicious pastries. The hotel staff from the Maya come in and out all morning helping themselves to free breakfast and coffee which is a bit annoying. There are no staff on site (except the lovely breakfast lady in the mornings). I agree with other reviewers that some parts of the hotel need some rennovation but I didnt mind. Be aware that there is no bar no alcohol and no food at all in the hotel other than breakfast. A regular shuttle takes you down to the Maya Resort which has extremeley expensive food and drink - a small bottle of beer is 10 euros. The Hotel di Vista offers a laundry service but it takes three days! Be aeate that this is a high mosquito area so dont leave your balcony doors open.…

This hotel needs a major facelift and a deep cleaning. Our toilet was broken and ran all night. No tissues in the room and a meager supply of toiletries. Restaurant was tacky feeling. Sticky tables. Cold, sad looking food. Restrooms in the building are filthy. No toilet paper. Toilets sticky and dirty. Staff are friendly and could use some training in hospitality and attending to client needs. Being proactive and helpful are key to a gratifying customer experience The owners could benefit from stepping up to these matters that need attention. My overall sense was that they are trying to cut corners and it shows.

Where do I begin? The website is very misleading as the photos are probably ten years old. The hotel is in utter disrepair. In our room there was mold in the shower and around the AC duct which I cleaned myself. We had paid for a balcony but we’re given a French Balcony which is just a door that opens. The floor was dirty with dead bugs and an old set of contact lenses. The breakfast was average at best but the young lady did make a good cappuccino. They advertised a roof top bar but it is permanently closed. We brought our own wine up there to watch the sunset. There is a sister hotel below where you can access the beach club for 85 euros per day which is not worth it. The hotel is 10- 15 minutes out of town and a 40-50 euro cab ride so we rode the city bus back and forth to Sorrento. This hotel has potential but unless the owners are willing to upgrade the facility it will continue to deteriorate. Sadly I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!…

Stayed here for 2 nights in May 2023. There is free parking which was great for us, check in was easy and simple. We were shown to our room which had a fantastic view of Capri. The room itself had over 10 mosquitos inside as the window had been left open which was annoying. The bed was comfortable enough but the whole room was dated and in need of TLC and definitely NOT 4 star. The hotel provided a free shuttle bus to and from Sorrento town which was a huge help, we used this service about 8 times during our stay. The breakfast….. to get there you have to go up a lift that takes about a minute to go up one floor, once you are there you are greeted with a very very disappointing selection of food and seating areas. We walked in and straight back out, it was appalling. Overall the stay was ok but definitely not a 4 star hotel and we wouldn’t go back. …

The hotel did not meet my expectations. Although the location is beautiful (quiet, relaxed, beautiful views), the hotel itself is outdated. The rooms are large, however, the room itself, the bathroom and the surroundings need refurbishment. And unfortunately the rooms are not clean : dust, hair, strange odour, humidity. Luckily we also booked access to Maya Beach pool and that was great. A nice pool and great ambiance. And the hotel provided a free shuttle from the hotel to the pool. The hotel is promoting a skybar - but you can only have breakfast there. There is no option to drink or eat something during the day or evening. So a bit misleading information. The staff was friendly, especially Danielle is very friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful areq and I would come back to Amalfi coast, but I will not book the same hotel anymore.…

I am left in 2 minds following my stay at Vista Di Capri Hotel. Me and my partner stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We were debating whether to pay the additional amount to stay at Maya Hotel or not. In hindsight we wished we did. We paid for double room with terrace and sea view with access to vip Maya Beach resort. The view from the room was hardly to be desired. Barely could see anything. Cons: As soon as we walked in the room we both got a massive whiff of some bad odour in the room. Something that smelt like old people, unbeknown to us what it actually was at the time. The room itself was a good size however it was a little rundown and in need of a refurb. The pictures on booking website must have been taken a few years ago. Cleanliness was highly questionable with hair on walls and hair on “clean towels”. After a night of staying in the room, both me and my partner experienced mosquito bites.. by the end of our stay we each had 20+ mosquito bites across our bodies and face. Of which were sore, itchy, and painful. We quickly realised the smell was likely the mosquito repellent which did absolutely nothing in repelling them away. I had killed at least 15 mosquitoes and yet was still stung so many times, as they must have got in through the gaps in the doors or walls. There is limited choice in restaurants to eat around the hotel and at Maya Beach resort. The food at Maya beach resort was expensive for what we got. Club sandwich with crisps for 20-25 euros.. 5 euros for a coke.. Breakfast at the hotel barely had anything that was edible and it was the same set of food day after day. We also had an encounter of a dirty fork provided to us during one of the breakfasts. For a 3 mile trip that takes 10 minutes, be prepared to pay 40 euros for a taxi to and from the hotel from Sorrento town centre. Definitely some gouging going on here. The hotel is listed as a 3 star hotel, I think that is being generous. There were a few occasions where their reception had no one there. Pros: The staff were very polite and were very helpful. The view from the car park looking at the sunsetting was beautiful. There is a free shuttle service at limited times that goes to and from the hotel and Sorrento town centre. They also provide a free car ride down to Maya Beach resort. Maya beach was nice and clean, and some great views. The location of the hotel isn’t too far from Amalfi and Positano, and it is much cheaper staying at this hotel than one in at those locations. Day trip was possible and enjoyed an organised ferry trip to them both. Would I go back and stay at the hotel again.. Unfortunately no.…

I was extremely fortunate to travel to this stunning place in July 2019 with a dear friend. We stayed in the beach hotel which is the one to be in. I used the toilet in the cliff hotel on one occasion and it is not as modern as the beach hotel and also a little gloomy. Everything about this hotel is lovely. The food, the drinks the location, the staff, the amazing sunsets. Sitting having dinner on an evening looking out to sea as the sun sets is extremely relaxing. I could not recommend the place highly enough. We traveled to Rome for a night during our stay and we were a little worried about taking our passports the receptionist assisted by providing a copy of them and keeping them in the hotel safe. They were also extremely helpful in assisting us with travel advice to Rome and for day trips. During our stay we took a few trips to Positano, Amalfi and Capri and the hotel made us a packed lunch to take. Overall lovely sevice and a beautiful hotel!…

I stayed at Sea Club Conca Azzura Resort in July 2019 in the Main hotel. It was an amazing week with my boyfriend. The views are amazing especially the gorgeous sunset. Rooms are basic but comfy and well equipped. Pool was nice to chill around in the day time to soak up the sun. Food was nice enough, but we do enjoy eating out so it was lovely to get the nice Italian vibe in the back streets of Sorrento where there are some lovely family owned restaurants. Unfortunately, I did end up extremely unwell for 2 days but the hotel was absolutely amazing. Reception called a Doctor out for me as soon as my boyfriend told them about me being ill, the Doctor took about 20mins to arrive which in my opinion is great, especially when it was around 4am. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a holiday for couples or families with older children. Also, I would definitely advise visiting Sorrento town and Pompeii!…
