It's my second day here and I am loving it. Rooms are as expected. Basic but clean and good value for money. The welcome was lovely. Amazing food so far, fresh pizza for €4 huge glass of wine for €3 draught beer served in chilled frosted glass..private beach which is kept immaculate. We got room 202, no daylight except for a little light from a window with view on blind wall, not enough to light the room. Day and night the lights on! The photographs of the Hotel and the Beach, do not do it justice...it is far worse.!! The Hotel is depressing, dated and souless, as is the Bay of Marina di Puolo. Frist impressions not good, took a long time to locate hotel, unable to drive to the door had to ask staff to open a gate, there was car parking a little distance from the hotel. This hotel was very nice, clean, our room was comfortable, big with a nice view on the beach. The personnel is very friendly and very helpful. Without a car, it is sometimes difficult. The hotel was good for the price, although the directions were a bit misleading. The website we used described it as 2km from the centre of Sorrento- as the crow flies maybe!
