Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel shows 4-stars after it's name. This is not a 4-star hotel. Maybe it was a 4-star hotel 30 years ago, but today it is not even a 2-star. I have visited hotels from Sicily to Netherlands, and Ireland to Estonia and this hotel would not qualify for more than a 2-star in any of these places. There are still some evidence that the hotel was very nice some time ago, but that is not today. Old bathrooms, weird decor with funny colors and stick on wall art, dreary hallways, rusted balconies, dubious cleanliness. The desk staff was extremely nice, but the hotel structure was below par. On very busy road.

The location is actually quite good as the train into Venice runs regularly and Mogliano is a nice town with bars, cafes, restaurants and great shoe shops! However, the hotel is in need of refurbishing with a consistent style rather than the hotch potch that it currently has. Whoever does the interior design has no idea about matching colours and finishing jobs off properly. The shower in our first room had a door missing but the water was hot and the bedroom a decent size. The safe in the room didn’t work. The music from the bar was too loud and the bar was far more modern than the rest of the hotel. The WiFi was poor and when we mentioned it we were told that was the only thing guests didn’t complain about!

Very large bedroom with large comfortable bed. Nicely tiled bathroom. More than adequate continental breakfast and very friendly staff. Only one plug socket. A few minutes walk to the town centre and train station, with direct links to Venice and Treviso. Very pleasant stay!

Left with absolutely terrible bed bug bites all over my arms, hands and shoulders. Breakfast was incredibly basic, ham, cheese, bread rolls and 2 types of cereal. Rooms are dated, incredibly small TV, shower was small and part of the fixture was broken so it kept falling off and wouldn't stay high enough to stand under. AC doesn't work, I can understand the hotel thinking it's not needed at certain times of the year but it needs to be considered that A) not everyone is used to higher temperatures and 25c is high for some of us B) some people also like to sleep in a cold or cool room. Opening the windows was not really an option as there is a bar under the hotel which plays loud music until quite late. Only positives were the staff who were friendly and helpful, the hotel is pretty accessible as the train station is less than a 5 minute walk and there are some nice places to eat nearby.

Outside of Venice, which weekender didn’t tell us until we had confirmed everything so nothing we could do, hearing didn’t work in room so was freezing at night, also if you want bites all over you from bed bites I would definitely book here, breakfast is ham, cheese bread, boiled egg and cereal, no cooked breakfast, would be coming back here for sure

After reading some awful reviews on here I was petrified what we were going to arrive to. However we were pleasantly surprised. The lady on reception was very welcoming and explained everything to us. Our room wasn’t quite ready as we arrived early but she offered to call us as soon as it was. We went for a little walk around the town to explore (great supermarket just off the main square with some cafes and would also highly recommend Mies restaurant which is about a 10 min walk away) When we got back, went to our room. Lovely and spacious, clean, lovely big bed and lots of storage. Basic toiletries in bathroom. Less than 10 min walk to train station that go straight to Venice. Breakfast provided was good with bread and pastries, ham, cheese, jams etc. Just a bit of a pain to get here from airport and ended up just paying for taxi which was €45 from airport and then we pre-booked to go back to airport which hotel booked for us and it was €35 Overall nice stay and easy for visiting Venice

I don’t often write reviews but I saw some patently wrong reviews so needed to get some truth here. Yes, it’s faded, past it’s best. The owners seem to be trying to revive it. The staff are super friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable with a quirky style, separate lounge (I guess that makes it a suite), the bathroom was large and accessible. The air con struggled to keep the room cool in the heat. I wish there was coffee making facilities but this isn’t the only hotel without them on our tour of the country. The breakfast was ample, a proper continental breakfast, the only warm food were the boiled eggs. The location is outside of Venice but a 30 minute bus journey or a 10 minute train journey gets you towards where you want to go, the fares are cheap. Good amenities close by, restaurants and supermarkets. I would recommend this hotel to you, treasure the staff as they will treasure you.

The hotel rooms are very spacious, but that is all. The breakfast buffet is below average. But the hotel is clean and there is a nice bar area. Located only 300m fra the Train station and it cost less than 3 euro to get to Venice (approx 30 min.) Fine enough if you just need a place to rest.

4 star hotels can be tricky. You never really know what end of the 4 star spectrum you’re going to get. Undoubtedly, this hotel is the worst (4 star, or even in general) hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was designed to a 1970s finish. The en-suite was hideous and the shower doors hadn’t been replaced or even deep cleaned since at least the 1990s. The buffet breakfast consists of coffee, breads, 2 types of cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs. How this is considered 4 star is beyond me. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Mogliano train station which takes you into historical Venice every hour or so. This was the only redeemable quality to the hotel.

How this hotel has a 4 star is beyond me? If I could figure out who to contact to get this reviewed I would. Firstly there is no air conditioning at all and when you ask about it at reception you get shouted at. We had to sleep with doors open which wouldn't be bad if it wasn't for them having a bar at the hotel open till midnight playing music at full whack not to mention being on a busy road. The beds are terrible also, low, hard and squeaky. The rooms are filthy with a ton of dust under the beds. The duvets have never been washed, the cleaners just take the dirty towels and never replace with new. Also the plug sockets didn't work so can't charge your electronic devices. Only things good about the hotel is its close to a railway line that takes you to centre of Venice and breakfast wasn't too bad. My advise don't bother, other places that charge the same which have just got to be better than here!!
