I spent three nights at Hotel Excelsior and was very pleased in every regard. Spotless room, friendly and helpful staff, and very convenient to shops and restaurants in center of town. A short (15-minute) walk to train station or a five euro cab.

It's simply a good hotel. Nowadays it's out-of-date, interior is old fashioned, but everything is OK. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is spaciuos and very clean, many towels,breakfast was also very good. Very good coffee. It's Italy! We were offered free indoor parking. Everything was fine.
