I must say I really enjoyed this hotel and it suited our purposes to have a mid-budget accommodation as a base for our excursions to Pisa, Florence and many other attractions in northern Tuscany. “Very average, overpriced”

We stayed there for a week. We chose Montecatini Terme town as a base and then we took daytrips to different Tuscany sites. MT town is lovely, walkable and hotel was quick walk away from the main restaurant and shopping street. You can park in front of the hotel for 15 minutes to unload. Free parking is 4 streets away,... “A star might have fallen off.........”

We stayed at Maestoso for one night, 2 parents, 2 kids, family room. + Friendly receptionist/owner + Location in Tuscany + Swimming pool + 100 euro for the night is not a crime. - Extremely outdated interior which almost feels like a filmset. "'Is that really Sophia Loren at the bar?!? -Old, old bathrooms -Horrendous breakfast plus coffee was unbearable,
