Le Caggiole is about ten minutes outside of the old city walls of Montepulciano. The property itself is beautiful and historic. The farmhouse dates back centuries and the current owners' family have held the property since the 1800s. You can clearly see their love for the place. We spent a wonderful 6 nights of our 16 night vacation in Le Caggiole. It was wonderful from start to finish. The rooms were spotless and spacious: filled with Italian antiques form the family. We stayed in the room where Giacomo's mother was born. How's that for family history. The food was very nice. We ate none better in Tuscany.... more

The farm is immersed in a grove of olive/fruit trees and vineyards -- offering breathtaking views over the surrounding valleys. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Agriturismo Le Caggiole has a wonderful position, set on a hillside with amazing views of the Tusan hills close to Montepulciano. I was very impressed by the hospitality of the family host, the best freshly made cake for breakfast, and the peaceful place. Fresh, clean and spacious accommodation surrounded with a beautiful views of vineyards about 1 mile outside of the town of Montepulciano. Freshly baked cakes each morning for breakfast.
