On our recent month-long trip to Italy we planned eight days in Tuscany, five of which we spent at the incredible "Agriturismo La Bruciata." From the minute we arrived, we were struck by the location – close to Montepulciano and other hill towns, well off the main road, on top of a small hill overlooking vineyards and olive trees -... more

Laura was such a gracious hostess, helpful in every way. We had 2 wonderful traditional Tuscan dinners prepared by her, and the best, fresh-pressed olive oil from their olive trees, drizzled over bruschetta, topped with delicious garden-ripe tomatoes. Breakfasts were quite a feast, always with at least one home baked coffee cake. Our room was very spacious, incredible views, excellent... more

We stayed at La Bruciata with Laura in June, we were celebrating our 5th anniversary. It was the end of our trip, and we had 2 nights left, and we heard about this little gem. So we called and Laura gladly held our room for us. When we arrived I cried cause it was so beautiful, the perfect fairytale ending... more

We have stayed in Tuscany many times before but never it was that perfect as this year: domain, location, hospitality, kitchen,.. You name it. The domain is very nice. It includes comfortable apartments, a garden that has many nice corners, terraces (4) with splendid view, hammocks, a beautiful olive tree and – last but not least – the swimming pool.... more

It is better than you could dream. The people, the food, the quiet, the rooms, and the overall care to detail. We fell in love with the family - Laura, Marisa and Nonna. The cooking lessons are so fun and the food is unbelievable. It is so peaceful and beautiful. We rode bikes to the nearby hill towns and have... more

If you're looking for a great agriturismo near Montepulciano, you can stop looking here because you just found it. This is a wonderful accommodation, beautifully maintained with a panorama of Tuscan countryside just outside your doorstep. We can't say enough about the most friendly service provided by Laura and her mother, so we'll just say that you will want for... more

We travelled to La Brusciata from Rome. It was our Honeymoon. Blissful, even though the satnav died on the way it was still surprisingly easy to find La Brusciata. Lara had put rose petals on the bedroom floor and champagne along with a letter congratulating us. I cried, it was lovely. What can I say that other people haven't? It... more

If you are debating over where to stay in Tuscany, choose La Bruciata! You will not regret your decision. We had a difficult time finding the agriturismo, so we arrived late the first evening. Upon our arrival, Laura, the owner of La Bruciata, came out to greet us at our car and ushered us inside where a table was set... more

Pretty newly built apartments for 3.5 years managed by Lara and owned by her family. Positives: - good breakfasts each morning with 3 homemade items - good size rooms with a very nice view off the balcony - good spacious shower rooms, no bath - away from the main road so you don't hear or see any traffic Negatives: -... more
