Hotel IL Rondo in Montepulciano is wonderful. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated, and while not huge, are of a decent size. The bathrooms have modern fixtures. We drove into Multipuciano very late and found the hotel we reserved locked, and were in this small city at midnight with nowhere to go. We found this hotel using TripAdvisor, and wondered if it would hold up to the extremely positive reviews. It did. The rooms are new and gorgeous, decorated beautifully with antiques and an attention to detail. It was so nice to have a charming, traditional Tuscan room with a new, modern bathroom attached. We have returned from our honeymoon in Italy where we spent one week of it at Albergo Il Rondo. From the minute we arrived to when we left the owners could not be any more welcoming or helpful.
