My wife and I stayed at an apartment of a great B&B in la Morra from June 3 to June 5 2006. We had a wonderful stay there. Erbaluna is a small family run organic vineyard that operates a bed and breakfast on the site of their vineyard and has a couple of apartments right outside of Barolo. We found the family who runs it super friendly (they spoke English quite well too). The breakfast was great, homemade cakes, home-made jams, home-made cheese, prosciutto, fruit, juice, yogurt. They packed a basket full of breakfast stuff for us to take to the apartment in case we didn't want to come back to the B&B for breakfast.

They gave us maps, made great restaurant recommendations (and even offered to make the reservations for us), and provided free wine-tasting and tours of their cantina. We called to make a reservation in their B&B but it was booked, so we opted for one of their apartments (we paid 75 Euros a night).
