We have just come back from the Adler Wellness resort in Ortesei. We visited the sister hotel in April this year and this is every bit as good. The scenery is breathtaking and the hotel and it's staff superb. The food is good and breakfast in particular is better than any I have had. The owner Elly Sanoner greeted everbody... more

I'm used to stay at 5* stars hotel for my trips all around the world and I go every year to Val gardena for holiday so I couldn't miss a stay at The Adler. Generally - Excellent. Rooms - Excellent ( In Vital Residenz). Restaurant Food - Excellent. Vast choice. Restaurant Service - Excellent. Pools and Saunas - Excellent. Gym and Excursions - not used, but appear well organised. Staff - Generally helpful and friendly. Decor - Good. We stayed at the Adler for four days in June 2006 and had a terrific holiday. The family room was large and comfortable and even with our year old son's cot in the corner, it still felt spacious. Overview We stayed at the Adler hotel in January 2005 for a week skiing booked through Inghams. The hotel is expensive by Italian standards and also extremely luxurious for Italy. The Adler is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous mountain resort village. The Spa is perhaps the best I have experienced. Nightly entertainment was of high quality and fun. The restaurant was excellent and the breakfasts were super. The public rooms of the hotel are beautiful. My only reservation regarding the Adler is that the bedrooms are boring and modern.... more
