Orvieto, Italy was the last stop on a three and a half week trip to Italy. It was also the most memorable stop due to the hospitality and many kindnesses of Daniele and the staff of the Villa degli Ulivi. We spent part of the time in Room 201 a with a wonderful terrace overlooking the Umbrian countryside. Very clean... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in April. Danielle and the Villa did not disappoint. We arrived after dark and wanted to go into town for dinner but didn't want to drive, not knowing the town. After helping carry our very heavy bags to the 3rd floor and asking if we wanted a cold drink, Danielle offered to... More

We only stayed 1 night in Orvieto. We were originally going to do a quick day-trip stopover on our way to 2 nights in Siena, but the more I read about the town, the more we thought just a day there would not be enough. Then when I read about Ulivi, that clinched it. We are so glad we changed... More

This place was like coming to heaven when arriving from Rome. 3 girls on a two night-trip to the wonderful Orvieto. The hosts are so nice, you will be taken care of like if you are a king or a queen. All of us 3 girls, will absolutely come back. The b&b suits families, couples or friends on vacation. This... More

Daniel is a very pleasant host . He helped carry our heavy bag up to third floor where our room had a good view of the countryside. Good size shower which is not something to take for granted in country B&Bs. Breakfast was good with many local cakes to choose from. This was one of our best stops in our... More

We were complimenting the owner on the hotel's refurbishment, when he informed us that the building is modern. It is built to look old and it fooled us! The owners provided transportation from the train station (and into town one night when it was raining) for free. We loved our views from our room on the top floor. The room... More

Just outside the city walls, the B&B lived up to everything in their description. Rooms were large and comfortable. Free Wifi was greatly appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful offering guides, maps and suggestions. The included Breakfast featured a large variety of homemade sweets as well as Umbrian salumi and cheese. The view from our third floor room of... More

The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The room was large and clean and the bathroom was excellent for Italy. The location is perfect. A nice walk up to Orvieto (you can take escalators at top of hill or walk it) and back in the evening. I think it is a great base for exploring Orvieto and the surrounding area.... More

We planned to stay 2 nights and ended up staying for three. Daniele, the owner, was fantastic. We had a problem with our car and Daniele organised a tow truck and mechanic. He gave us lifts to the centre of Orvieto and to and from the railway station. He recommended and booked restaurants. He is a very special host. The... More

Just outside the city gates this B&B offers all the conveniences needed. The beds are comfortable, the location quiet, the facilities good and the staff great. All staff spoke English, there were suggested restaurants which proved great, especially Mezza Luna, this is not to be missed for the carbonara. It is easy to spend a full day or more in... More
