Good location. Glad we stayed there. Wife loved the many jets in the shower. I (at 6'2" height and broad-shouldered) found the shower to be very small. Room was apparently the largest in the hotel (#18) and the one featured in the hotel brochure, but not on their web page. Found a "queen" and single bed in the double room.... more

We had room 15, very small and the bathroom with shower only was tiny. One small window with a view of the house next door. Air conditioning system would be turned off at the front desk at their discretion even when the temps during the day were fairly warm. I don't know what they advertise for TV reception but we... more

My husband and I and two other couples stayed here for two days en route to Tuscany. Wonderful location in old city. Lovely people at check in (Grandmother, daughter & sweet baby grandaughter). Breakfast good with fresh fruit. Highly recommend this hotel. more

My kids and I really enjoyed staying at Hotel Corso for 6 nights. It was walking distance form the train station and we felt very comfortable there. The staff were very helpful to us and the breakfast was incredible. I could always count on a wonderful cup of espresso every morning. They also have a lovely terrace at the top... more

My wife and I stopped through Orvieto on our honeymoon to Italy, and were very happy with the Hotel Corso. We had room 16, which we felt was clean and spacious. It also had a nice balcny and was very close to the very nice shared terrace. The bathroom was also very nice, fairly updated, and not cramped. We had... more

I distinctly got the feeling that the receptionist sincerely disliked having guests at his hotel. He was unfriendly, close to rude. This is a shame as the hotel itself is not all bad. Here is my review, and I will try to filter out the negative vibrations from the receptionist: Rooms: tiny but tidy(not possible to open the suitcase anywhere... more

The room was clean and spacious, although sparse and dated. The location was good. The front desk was unhelpful and maintained a bit of an attitude. He was unpleasant at check in, when asked gave us directions to a cafe I'm sure he knew was closed, told us breakfast wasn't ready when it should have been, and then tried to... more

Everything at the Hotel Corso was fine until we went to bed. Woke up in the middle of the night, because the A/C was off. All the windows were closed, of course. We waited, hoping it would come back on. They had turned it on for us when we checked in. Apparently, they also turn it off during the night.... more

We stayed at the Hotel Corso and were very disappointed. The hotel had been recommended in a book by Rick Steves and we had read good reviews. When we arrived, the hotel staff was not very helpful about information about parking our car. Apparently, there are two types of parking spaces in the public parking area. Blue spaces are for... more
