The lady who works at this hotel is extremely hospitable, welcoming and very kindly lent me a local guidebook. The shower was good and the bedroom basic and clean in general but the stench of stale cigarette smoke was so overwhelming that I didn't sleep well, despite having all the windows open. An incongruous orange fridge with a bright light/transparent... More

I took a group to this hotel. The location was really wonderful to explore the town, directly down the block from the main basilica and piazza. The staff at this hotel was very nice and helpful, they recommended a wonderful restaurant for us. There are street noises, so ask for an interior room if this would bother you.

I stayed here for a week whilst attending a course based around Tuscany. I would reccomend this as an excellent base to get to Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Just a short walk from the train station. The breakfast was nice and the lady behind the desk was fantastic and very helpful

Visited Pistoia on the way to Florence (Firenze). Pistoia is a lovely town with the usual attractions "duomo, battisterie, piazza, town hall etc" But it seems to be overlooked by tourists and is therefore relatively quiet. The hotel is family run and friendly. The rooms are a bit old, but are fine, and there is free wi-fi. The hotel is... More

Good location for who wishes to visit Pistoia, just that. The interiors definitely need a deep renovation both in structures and in fornitures. To be avoided the street-side rooms where, due to old and thin windows, there is an awful noise since very early morning. Breakfast is not bad.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. If it were 20 euro, I would have figured that it was what you get for little money, but they had the audacity to charge 80 euro. We were desperate or else we would never have stayed. Rooms are dim and dingy. Cigarette burns on the bedside tables. TV was on... More

Our visit here was most pleasant. Our room was clean and the bathroom had a big shower. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was more than satifactory. The only problem we found was our room was facing the front alley and the noise was disturbing.

We booked into the Leon Bianco based on a tour book recommendation. The room was dimly lit, the bathroom was huge with a shower located so low on the wall, a contortionist would have been challenged! The whole place was freezing. We requested that the heat be turned on in our room, and were assured it would be. It never... More

In June 2004 we stayed 2 nights in the Leon Bianco, which is right in the city centre of Pistoia. The staff were very friendly. They provided us with a resident's permit to park our car (free of charge) in a nearby street. Our room was spacious and clean with a good spotless bathroom. The place is not very cozily... More
