While visiting the Amalfi coast for a week, my girlfriend and I stayed at the Palazzo Marzoli for 4 nights. We had an overall terrific experience, with very friendly and personable staff, a recently renovated room with contemporary but regional style, and an excellent location. The room was adequately sized for a small European hotel, with an impressively large bathroom.... more

I just want to say: "Thank you for an amazing stay!!" The staff was so friendly and helpful, the room and the view were amazing. Strongly recommend the hotel. I stayed her with my wife this summer and did not want to leave... See you next year! Ciao e Grazie mille, Dennis & Vanessa more

We wanted to stay in Positano and how lucky we were to have found this hotel. First, the location of the resort is high up on the hill. At first I was concerned about this, but quickly found this to be extremely positive. The reasons are that the view is amazing, the location also provides restaurants and grocery stores within... more

We loved this hotel. We had a block of three rooms for October 24-28, 2009, and it was one of the best experiences of our whole trip to Italy. First the setting is amazing with beautiful views. What is nice about the hotel it is on the upper part of the town, so the view is superb. We also liked... more

The first thing to say is that the view from our room was stunning. Because of the hotel's location - more or less at the top of the hillside up which the town of Positano is built - you see Positano ranged out beneath you as you look out of the window. (Although you can't actually see the beach because... more

This hotel is too expensive as it lacks guest facilities but Positano is expensive generally so you need to pay lots to get somewhere special. There is a complimentary shuttle bus service dropoff/pickup downtown. Reception staff needed a bit of prodding to offer advice on local information. Very basic continential breakfast served on a tray in room/private balcony. No restaurant... more

I am an expat living in Belgium, so I travel a lot. Staffs in European hotels are usually pretty rude and unkind, but the staff in this hotel tops them all. A staff in the front desk, a bold guy with an attitude, was extremely rude. I was traveling with 2 and 3 yrs old babies, and they charged 50euro... more

My wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon. Hotel was fantastic. The service was excellent, quick, clean and friendly. They upgraded us to the room with the biggest terrace - the rooms are beautifully decorated, clean yet modern. Amazing shower! Breakfast was brought to our room every morning and they picked us up from Naples airport and left us... more

Stayed here for a long weekend in October. Plus points - the hotel building itself is lovely. Small, boutique feel, very clean and quiet. Above the centre of Positano, but the hotel offers a shuttle service down into town and there is a bus stop close by which means this is not an issue. Breakfast was included too, croissants, coffee... more

Have just spent a week in the Palazzo Marzoli, a small hotel on the outskirts of Positano with fantastic views down to the shore. Don't be put off by the 777 steps to the beach, yes it is a long way but going down is easy and meanders in and out of the streets and houses. Going up is tougher... more
