We loved the view from our room. From the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom you could view the sea as well as from the balacony. Positano is a breathtaking and magical place. We stayed at the Hotel Ancora for 3 nights of our honeymoon and had the most amazing time. Our room had an enourmous terrace overlooking the ocean with a 4 person hot tub. There was a canopy that could come down over the tub for privacy, along with a wrought iron table and chairs. We had breakfast delivered every morning... more

We stayed with friends in November and absolutely loved the hotel. It is in a great location, only about a 5 minute walk to the main part of town and 10 minutes to the beach. We had junior suites which were very large, clean and with huge terraces overlooking the beach. The staff we all fabulous and very, very helpful... more

This hotel had a great view and the room was huge. It was also very clean with a nice breakfast and lovely staff. It was a bit expensive-but I guess a lot of hotels in Positano are. . .a quick 10 minutes walk to the beach so the location was fine. more

A lovely room with a good but incredibly public terrace in a nice central location but vastly overpriced. For a few euros more we wished we had stayed at Le Sirenuse next door. Breakfast was poor served in a horrible room. Our bathroom was antiquated and there was some noise from surrounding rooms. Someone needs to look at the price... more
